GRANX Nylon 66 Compounding

GRANX Nylon 66 (PA66) is a high-performance engineering polyamide synthesized from hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid. It offers superior mechanical strength, rigidity, heat stability, and chemical resistance, making it one of the preferred plastics for demanding industrial applications. PA66 is known for maintaining structural integrity under high loads and elevated temperatures.
Due to its robust properties, PA66 is widely used in automotive components, structural parts, and electrical/electronic systems, where durability and thermal stability are critical. Its high tensile strength and wear resistance also make it suitable for gears, bearings, and other precision engineering parts.
Glass fiber reinforced PA66 can be formulated with halogen-free flame retardants that achieve key safety standards such as UL 94 and Glow Wire tests, making these grades ideal for E&E industry requirements.
